Equipment and Materials Needed:

Double Boiler (melting pot in a pan of boiling water)
 A Pouring Pot
 Wick Wire
 Thermometer
Large bobby pins to hold wicking in place
Wick or ribbon for single side molds
 Spoon, ladle, paring knife

Directions:

Melting the Wax:  Click here to read wax melting instructions and remember DO NOT LEAVE WAX UNATTENDED!

Using the Mold: Note the "T" pin on the bottom of each mold. The "T" pin is inserted in the hole the wicking will go through. Use a large darning needle to wick the mold. Leave a long piece of wick out the bottom of the mold, then, each time you remove the candle from the mold, you will draw up the wick and re-wick the mold. Most molds are split to make removal of the candle very easy. Your molds comes with rubber bands to hold the seam(s) together. A large bobby pin will hold your wick in the center of the mold.

Allowing the Wax to Harden: Allow wax to harden - time required will vary with size of mold. Remove bobby pin and rubber bands, open the mold and remove the candle. Clip the wick approximately 1" longer than the candle. If needed, trim the base and/or seams with a paring knife.
