Helpful Hints for Making Rolled Candles

1. Make sure that the first roll around the wick is tight and even in order to firmly secure the wick.

2. Roll your candles in a warm room. The warmer the beeswax is, the more pliable it becomes which makes the sheets easier to roll. If you are still experiencing problems with rolling, warm the sheets slightly with a hairdryer.

3. If smoking or dripping occurs, your candle may not be rolled tightly enough. Try rolling your candles tighter and make sure that they are not being burned in a draft.

4. Over time beeswax develops a cloudy film on it's surface which is called "bloom." Bloom can be removed by warming sheets quickly with a hairdryer. Make sure that you don't hold the hairdryer in one spot for too long because you don't want to melt the wax.
